Please join us for lawn games and cocktails following the ceremony with a formal dinner and dancing after sunset.

Getting to the Venue

We recommend out of town guests use Uber or Bolt to call a ride to the wedding venue. It is generally easy to call a car from this area. However, it can be take a while to call a car to return from the venue, especially later at night. To make it as easy as possible, we plan to provide a shuttle that will take guests from the venue back to a central spot in Stellenbosch area at the end of the evening.

(It may also pick up from Stellenbosch to go to the ceremony… Planning in progress. More specifics to come!)

If you prefer to stay elsewhere, but plan to use the shuttle back from the venue, we recommend guests stay in the Stellenbosch Dorp Street/Central Area.

FRIDAY MEET & GREET - At the current stage there may or may not be an official meet and greet the day before the wedding for our out of town guests, Friday, April 4th, 2025.

i.e. dresses in medium and lighter colors, pastels, soft floral prints, satins — we encourage our guests to play with details and texture, such as a hint of feathers, sequins, or lace

we encourage our guest to wear medium and lighter colors rather than traditional darker ones, however, we do ask that you please avoid wearing white, ivory and black dresses
— if helpful, the brides people will be in a pale mist blue.

FORMAL SUITS + TUXES

i.e. suits with dress shirts and cufflinks, a contrasting pocket square, fancy footwear

black and navy tuxes, and other colors of tux are absolutely acceptable, however, we ask you please avoid white or ivory tuxedo jackets

We recommend you reach out ahead of time to ensure they have what you are looking for if this is something you would like to look into!

WEATHER CONSIDERATIONS

End of March and early April can be a little variable. The weather is usually warmer (~75-80ºF during the day) and cooler (~60 to 50ºF) at night. The days can get windy and there may be a little rain (typically more so in April than in March).

logistics of fancy footwear

Weather permitting (please send prayers, positive vibes), the ceremony, cocktail hour+, and dinner will be outside on the lawn (grass) or on stone walk ways, finishing with drinks, dessert, and dancing inside the reception hall. Select your dancing shoes/fancy footwear accordingly.
